4 Sector Receiver

A base station is generally made up of a high power amplifier (HPA), low noise amplifier (LNA), modem, multiplexor, and up- and down- converters. For receiving digital data, the LNA boost the signals to the down-converter, which lowers the frequency and sends it to the modem. The modem demodulates the carrier, and the digital output goes to the demultiplexing device and then to its destinations.
Component Highlights
*DVGA - increases system dynamic range by providing automatic gain control.
*High resolution ADC - designed for speed and single-supply operation with sample-and-hold circuits.
*LDOs, Buck switching regulators - specifically designed for noise-critical, battery-powered applications such as base stations.
*Ethernet PHY - small size, low power, fully interoperable Ethernet PHY delivers up to 1 Gbps performance.
*LVDS - SerDes and PHY products for reliable high speed data and clock distribution.
