Systematic reflections and future perspectives on computational law science

Abstract： As a new interdisciplinary discipline that emerged from the indepth application of computational methods in law, computational law science is crucial to discovering the laws of legal systems, enriching legal research methods and building the foundation of the rule of law on the Internet. Since its emergence, computational law science has received widespread attention from universities and research institutions, and many achievements have emerged. There is still room for exploring the theoretical research and practical application of computational law science in China, and its conceptual system needs to be better constructed, and more consensus needs to be gathered on the research methods and future development of computational law science. It is a task that needs to be accomplished by researchers in computational law science, based on the present, gathering consensus and looking to the future.
