多源极轨卫星微波温度计资料实时区域同化系统

摘要: 基于中尺度数值预报模式WRF和WRFDA同化系统,实现多源极轨卫星微波温度计资料实时区域同化,并对同化产品进行评估和应用。2018年同化试验结果表明:通过质量控制和偏差订正,AMSU-A资料第5~9通道亮温观测增量O-B(观测值O和背景场的正演辐射模拟值B的差值)的标准差有效降低,同化后各通道亮温分析残差O-A(观测值O和分析场的正演辐射模拟值A的差值)的标准差有效降低。同化预报产品被应用在暴雨强对流个例和台风个例中,取得良好效果。

Abstract: A real-time assimilation was realized, based on the meso-scale numerical prediction model WRF and WRFDA assimilation system,for data of microwave temperature sounder onboard polar-orbiting satellites, along with preliminary evaluation and application of the assimilation products. The results of assimilation experiments in 2018 show that: the standard deviations of O-B (the differences between observations and the forward radiative transfer model simulations of background) of channels 5~9 of AMSU-A data are reduced effectively. After assimilation, the standard deviations of O-A (the differences between observations and the forward radiative transfer model simulations of analysis) for each channel are also decreased. The application results of the outputs of assimilation and forecast are satisfactory on heavy rain and severe convection cases and typhoon cases.

引言

我國(guó)數(shù)值天氣預(yù)報(bào)業(yè)務(wù)部門普遍對(duì)極軌衛(wèi)星資料對(duì)全球數(shù)值預(yù)報(bào)模式的作用認(rèn)知度很高,但在我國(guó)區(qū)域模式[1-7]中,極軌衛(wèi)星資料并沒有得到普遍應(yīng)用。因?yàn)閰^(qū)域模式啟動(dòng)時(shí)間快、資料截?cái)鄷r(shí)間短。如快速更新循環(huán)同化系統(tǒng)[8-13]要求截?cái)鄷r(shí)間更短(如70 min),只有高時(shí)效資料才能進(jìn)入同化系統(tǒng)。全球(整軌)極軌衛(wèi)星資料一般時(shí)效為3 h~6 h,不能滿足要求。

本文提出采用多源極軌衛(wèi)星資料來解決以上問題:首先挖掘使用大量時(shí)效很高的區(qū)域轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)資料,滿足區(qū)域模式對(duì)資料的時(shí)效要求;然后利用搭載在不同平臺(tái)的多源衛(wèi)星資料,提高過境資料量。
